First-prize proposal for the Walk DVRC Design Competition, reimagining Hong Kong’s Des Voeux Road Central as a pedestrian-oriented public space.
Visual storytelling played a key role throughout both the competition and subsequent touring exhibitions. A fictional character named Flora guided audiences through the proposal using animation and first-person narration, creating a more emotional and accessible public experience. |

Since 2013, I have collaborated on multimedia presentations for urban planning and architectural competitions across China and international contexts. At a time when competition presentations in China largely followed rigid and formal visual conventions, these works introduced a more contemporary visual language that combined cinematic storytelling, graphic design and artistic direction.
Over the past decade, nearly 50 presentation films and visual narratives have been produced for projects across China, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Ireland, Denmark and South Korea — transforming technical planning proposals into engaging visual experiences. |

Graphic Design Multimedia Film Client: MLA+ Year: 2016 |
The exhibition “City. Neighbourhood. Home” at the Moscow State Museum of Architecture marked MLA+’s inaugural introduction of its work to the Russian audience. Centered around a large-scale wall-projected film spanning nearly 50m, with a 30-minute runtime.
The exhibition employed a minimalist three-color system to visually articulate its core themes. Bold, vibrant color blocks were strategically used to resonate with Russia’s expressive cultural aesthetic, while a recurring silhouette character served as both a narrative thread and a source of playful interludes throughout the film. |

Buyerminds, a leading Dutch website design company, excels at using psychology to guide visitors' purchasing decisions, consumption, and feedback. They compiled their knowledge and experience to create a series of video courses, which were then launched on China's largest design learning website.
I was responsible for filming, editing, and animations of all the video courses. I also created this concise promotional video to encourage Chinese students to enroll in the courses. |
